Inventory rose more than 45% in one year, while the average cost for a sold home declined by 2.47%. Increased competition is putting pressure on sellers, leading to homes sitting on the market for an average of 39 days. We’re approaching a more balanced market, where neither buyers nor sellers have a clear advantage when negotiating.
