Byers, named for Colorado’s first newspaper editor, is east of Aurora, about 45 minutes from Downtown Denver. Byers is about 4.5 square miles and has a population of fewer than 2,000. Like most of the Front Range, though, this area is growing. It’s been discovered by people looking for a more relaxed way of life, without the hustle and bustle of the city.
