Lakewood Neighborhoods to consider

1. Bear Creek. The Bear Creek neighborhood, on the southwest side of the city, includes the large park of the same name, and offers easy access to hiking and biking trails as well as a recreational lake. Real estate here includes single family homes, apartments, and condos.

2. Bow Mar. Nestled between two recreational lakes, Lakewood’s Bow Mar neighborhood is a narrow strip that features a variety of single family homes, many of which have views of Marston Lake and Bowles Lake. With just 1,000 residents, Bow Mar has a small town feel with easy access to big city amenities in nearby Denver.

3. Solterra. Solterra is a new housing development in Lakewood. The planned community of upscale homes and condos features a community center, an infinity pool with a view of Red Rocks Amphitheater, a fitness center, and a spa.

4. Heritage West. Heritage West is another planned community in Lakewood. This collection of high-end, single-family homes features mountain views and quiet, tree-lined, cul-de-lac streets. Amenities at Heritage West include tennis courts and an outdoor swimming pool. Home styles vary and include new construction as well as the original homes from the 1980s.
