Evergreen Lake

This 55-acre lake is peaceful and serene, has gorgeous Mount Evans as its backdrop, and is a spectacular location for weddings and private special events. You can hire canoes, pedal boats and paddle boards. The lovely Evergreen Lake Trail encircles the lake, is 1 1/4 miles long, and is perfect for walking and running. You are able to view wildlife such as deer and elk and do some spectacular bird watching.

Alderfer/Three Sisters Park

This is a wonderful place just five minutes from central Evergreen with clean air where you can hike, mountain bike, horseback ride, picnic and view the amazing views.

One parking lot leads to a variety of well-marked maintained trails in the forest with easily-reached small peak summits. The other parking lot leads to an open flat plain that contains a huge tower of rocks in the center, which presents awesome climbing fun for kids.
