Find Incredible Charm at Park Hill

Golfing in DenverIf you are looking for a Denver home that has all the charm of an older home in a great location, Park Hill is the neighborhood for you. Park Hill is located on the northeast of downtown Denver, right next to the Museum of Nature and Science, the Denver Zoo, City Park, and the City Park Golf Course. Here are several features that Park Hill has to offer:

Rich History

When living in a suburb of Denver, you are often living in neighborhoods built in the last few decades. If you want to live in a neighborhood with a rich history, Park Hill’s beginnings date back to 1887. Park Hill was first established in 1887 by Baron Alois von Winckler who planned to develop the 32 acres he owned to the east of City Park. The first homes went for sale there in 1900. The history of the neighborhood also includes the historic Dahlia Square Shopping Center which was a central part of the neighborhood in its prime but then later demolished as it fell into disrepair.

Old School Charm

Since so many of these homes date back to the early 1900s, they have a beautiful charm that just can’t be recreated in a new neighborhood. Many of the homes have stately front porches, all brick construction, and have all the classic details of a turn-of-the-century home.
