Golden Triangle Neighborhood, an Art Delight

For an unusual day of exploring the art world, doing some unique shopping, and dining in some interesting eating establishments from coffee shops to lunch in the 2,500-square-foot Civic Center Park (including food trucks) to happy hours to dinners, the Golden Triangle, also known as Civic Center, is the place to go.

It takes only about a half hour to walk the entire length of Bannock Street, the zone’s informal thoroughfare, but you will want to take longer so that you can stop and enjoy the various offerings.

The boundaries are Broadway to the east, Colfax Avenue to the north, and the Cherry Creek Trail and Speer Boulevard to the southwest.

Although the Golden Triangle is one of the oldest neighborhoods in Denver, it is proud to boast of having the city’s best art galleries and museums as well as civic institutions mixed in with history, lots of quality shops, and is also home to approximately 2,000 people.
